March Club Projects

I've got some fun and oh-so-cute things planned for March--you won't want to miss our spring creations with the Lollydoodle paper pack!  Below is a photo of the layout we'll be doing.   And, below that, you'll see two cards and an owl box that our card makers will be making.  The owl box was designed by my fellow team member, Gwen Fillinger. . .when my club gals saw it, they said, "we have to make that!"  Your wish is my command!

If you'd like to join us for club on March 17th (10 a.m. or 6:30 p.m.), let me know as soon as possible.  Participants need to place a $20 minimum order when they attend class.  Be sure to tell me if you prefer to make the layout or the cards and box.

March Stamp of the Month

We have a charming Stamp of the Month for March 2014!  If you watched a lot of Olympic coverage (like we did at my house), you may have seen a story about how these Russian nesting dolls are made. . .very cool!  You can purchase this stamp set for only $5 with a $50 purchase in March. . .or purchase it for $17.95 with no additional purchase required.  To order, visit my website at http://christina.ctmh.com

Ivy Lane Card Kit Class--Thursday, Feb. 27th

Sign up now for my Ivy Lane Card Kit Class on Thursday, Feb. 27th.  Your kit includes all the materials to make 15 cards (five each of three designs), plus an ENTIRE roll of Gold Shimmer Trim (not available in the regular catalog), sequin embellishments AND an adorable stamp set, all for $24.95 (plus shipping and tax--about $29).  If you'd like to attend the workshop, please let me know by Thursday, Feb. 20th.

Crazy for Base and Bling!

I have to admit that I am absolutely CRAZY about our new Base & Bling pendant pieces.  I could seriously sit around and make these necklaces ALL DAY LONG.  So, here's how it works:  you choose your chain (Antique Gold or Antique Silver) and your matching pendant (square or round); you pick out an image to put in your pendant (we've got over 120 to pick from--the "storyteller" images are shown below); you stick your image in the pendant (you may have to trim if you're using a circle pendant), add a blob of Liquid Glass, then add a glass cover (use a damp rag to immediately wipe off any Liquid Glass that squirts out); let it dry and add the charms of your choice.  THAT'S IT.  It takes longer to pick out your image and charms than it does to put together a necklace!

So, you can buy the components for these necklaces at VERY affordable prices through my website:  http://christina.ctmh.com or, if you're local, you can attend one of my "jewelry bar" parties and make your necklace for only $13 (yes, I'm serious)!  What a great gift idea these would be. . .and what a fun mother/daughter activity this would be.  And, hey, these necklaces are even hip with the teens!

February Workshop Club--Ivy Lane Layout and Cards

If you'd like to come join us for February workshop club, let me know.  We meet on Monday, February 17th, at 10 a.m. or 6:30 pm.  This month, we'll be making this layout with the Ivy Lane paper pack. Attendees are required to place a $20 minimum order with no additional fees for your workshop materials.

Below are the cards that I'm thinking about doing with our card makers this month, though I reserve the right to change my mind at the last moment!!!  We'll definitely do some things with the Ivy Lane paper, since it's our "theme" for the month, but I'd like to sneak in that adorable Stamp of the Month as well.

We've finally got embossing folders!

I've been a fan of dry embossing for years, but we've never carried embossing folders in our catalog.  NOW WE DO!  And, to celebrate this event, we have a fantastic February Special:  Buy any two packs of cardstock (solid colors or combo packs) and get one of our new embossing folders FREE.  This special is only available while supplies last, which means that they expect to run out of embossing folders before the month is over (they'll restock at a later date), so ORDER now!  You can view our embossing folders on my website:  http://christina.ctmh.com/retail/Products.aspx?CatalogID=691
Note:  these are 5 x 7 embossing folders and will work on Cuttlebug or Big Shot machines.  Check out my fox card in the previous post to see a card made with one of our embossing folders.

Sooooo. . .CUTE!

I'm completely enamored with our February Stamp of the Month, "Wild About Love!"  The fox images are so much fun to play with!  On the card below, I stamped my fox in Sunset ink and hearts in Lagoon and Smoothie.  The "Wild Thing" sign is stamped in Chocolate ink.  I used Sunset, Pear and Chocolate Cardstock and embossed the white cardstock with our new embossing folders (see this month's specials for incredible deals on our embossing folders). Get it now before the month is gone!  Remember that the Stamp of the Month is only $5 with a $50 purchase (or you can purchase it at regular price for $17.95). . .visit my website at www.christina.ctmh.com to order.
