September Card Marathon

We have ALL new papers and stamps to play with, and that means it is time for another card marathon class!  Here are the cards we will be making on September 8th or 9th.  If you have not yet signed up for the workshop, it's not too late!  We'll make 20 cards in one night (four each of the five designs shown below).  The stamping is fairly simple for these cards, so the class is appropriate for beginner stampers!

You wouldn't know it, but the paper for this card came from the Yuletide paper pack, even though the card doesn't have a Christmas look at all.  I love this neutral pattern that works with ANYTHING!  The stamp set is B1467 You Mean the World to Me--a set that I love because it's got practical sentiments that card makers can use over and over again.  For the workshop, attendees can choose whatever message they want to put in the circle. . .even something for wedding or anniversary.

I'm always happy when we introduce some new stamp sets that work for masculine cards.  This paper for this card comes from the Seaside paper pack, and the stamp set is D1609 Seaside Greetings.

This card features the Confetti Wishes paper pack--fun, bright paper that just makes you smile!  The stamp set is D1618 Build-a-Cake (I used it to build a present).  Ink colors are Lagoon, Pacifica, Canary and Thistle.

This card was inspired by a design I saw on Pinterest.  I knew it would work great with our new Brushed paper pack.   Again, you could add any sentiment stamp to this card to make it work for a variety of occasions.

This card was designed by one of my team members, Susan Williams.  It's a simple card where we can easily switch out the message stamp, so I knew it would be perfect for our card marathon class.  The paper is from the Chalk It Up paper pack, and once again, I used the "You Mean the World to Me" stamp set (a MUST have, if you're a card maker).
